Australian marine service provider Boat Masters says business in the last quarter grew by more than 20% over the previous quarter. The company, which serves as a Maritimo travel lift and marina facility, was formally launched at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in May.
Gary Klein, Boat Masters service manager, says the company had lifted and worked on 129 vessels in the past quarter. "We have had vessels as small as 8m and up to 22m in length and they have undergone a wide range of repairs, maintenance and refits," he says.
"The facility is a hive of activity as the Maritimo Coomera-based research and development division has been moved over to Boat Masters and we have also made room for the recently acquired Elandra sports yachts vessels and moulds. The Maritimo Offshore race boat is also located here."
As well as servicing boats, Boat Masters also designs and creates new models at its Gold Coast site at Hope Harbour. Klein said the range of services provided at Boat Masters is extensive and all the specialist marine industry suppliers and contractors operating from the facility are of a high standard.
