Composite Shipbuilding LLC has completed the construction of the largest catamaran to be made by a Russian shipbuilder – the 20.5m (67ft) Pacifico Voyager 199.
The company built the catamaran at its shipyard in Vladivostok, located in Russia’s Primorsky Krai region. Its facility is located within the free port of Vladivostok zone, which provides Composite Shipbuilding with preferential tax treatment.
The craft is equipped with two 400hp Doosan engines, enabling maximum speeds of 24kt. This latest development was announced by the press service of the Primorsky Krai.
Earlier this year, Composite Shipbuilding also began to develop a 12m (39ft) catamaran. The yacht will be introduced to the market in the summer of 2018, according to company representatives.
Set up in 2000 by Russian businessman Dmitry Voloshenko, chairman of the company’s board, Composite Shipbuilding builds boats, yachts and catamarans, and also provides repair and maintenance services.
