Europe’s largest boat show, Boot Düsseldorf, starts tomorrow and runs until January 28. With 1,900 exhibitors from 65 countries, of which 50% are German, it is the show that each year provides a strong perspective on where the European market stands.

The show will feature several hundred boats and a series of world and European premieres. These include motorboats such as the Absolute 58 Fly, Axopar Brabus Shadow 800, Beneteau E34 and R55, the Grand Banks Eastbay 44, Invictus 250CX and the Princess S78, to name a few.

Among the sailing premieres are the Amel 50, Bavaria C45 and C65 (new flagship model), the Najad 505, Nautor Swan 50 and the X4-9.

The largest yacht at the show will be the 35m (115ft) Princess 35M.

The organisers are expecting around 250,000 visitors over nine days from over 90 countries. The show will have 18 themed areas, expanding the appeal of this huge event that extends across 17 halls.

By the end of the show, which will also include a number of seminars such as European Boating Industry (EBI)’s 3rd International Breakfast Meeting, exhibitors and market observers should have a much better insight into where the European market stands.
