UK trade association British Marine has appointed Grant Burgham as head of commercial. Burgham’s overall responsibility is to deliver the organisation’s commercial strategy across partnerships, sponsorship as well as ticket income. He will also help build and develop commercial relationships for both the London and Southampton boat shows.
Prior to joining British Marine, Burgham held a number of senior commercial and event management roles at Reed Exhibitions, Dubai World Trade Centre and Centaur Media Plc. He brings with him a real passion for the marine industry, having previously organised the Dubai International Boat Show for four and half years.
British Marine (the trading name of British Marine Federation Ltd) is a membership organisation leading the UK leisure, superyacht and small commercial marine industry. It has over 1,600 members drawn from both seagoing and inland sectors and represents an industry employing more than 33,000 people in the UK.
