Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) told the Beloit Daily News that it has postponed the decision to close its distribution facility in Beloit, Wisconsin, for at least three years. BRP said in September 2013 that it planned to outsource US distribution services, so that Beloit and other facilities would be closed.

“We have a lot of projects ongoing at the moment and we have realigned our priorities,” Johanne Denault, BRP’s manager of corporate communications, told the paper. She said that BRP told the 60 employees the news earlier this year. “We won’t revisit the issue for another three years,” she added.

The Beloit facility is part of the OMC acquisition that BRP made in 2000, along with its Evinrude and Johnson brands.
