In Sweden the marine parts depot, Marinshopen, has been acquired by the family-owned company C. Hansen Group AB. Marinshopen was previously owned by Mekonomen Fleet AB, but will be merged into C. Hansen Group AB to become its own business area within Hansen Group, specializing in original spare parts for boat engines and sterndrives, as well as boat accessories.

“We have a long and genuine experience in the marine industry, and Marinshopen, which has been active for over 40 years, is a well-known company in the industry with high expertise in boat engines, sterndrives, and accessories. Marinshopen will become a new business area within the Hansen Group company, completely different from our other business areas. Marinshopen will continue to operate from Älvsjö outside Stockholm just like before”, explains William Hansen, CEO Hansen Group.

Peter Magnusson, CEO of Marinshopen, is looking forward to becoming part of the wholly-owned family business:

“Hansen Group is an excellent owner with a great reputation in the industry thanks to a long-term commitment and experience of the market. Together we will develop Marinshopen and continue to deliver the best possible service to all our customers."
