Carmanah Technologies, a British Columbia-based LED lighting manufacturer, has released its preliminary Q3 financial results showing revenues of $19.5m for the quarter ended on September 30, 2015. The figure marks a near 60% year-over-year gain above the $12.2m reported for the corresponding quarter in 2014.

With the inclusion of the third-quarter results, the company’s year-to-date revenues are reported at approximately $46.6-million, an increase of approximately 54% from the corresponding year-to-date revenues of $30.3m reported in Q3 2014 (all figures in $US).

The company notes that as of September 30, 2015, open orders awaiting completion and delivery were approximately $16.9m, up $2.m from the $14.9m reported at the end of the second quarter. The majority of the open orders are expected to complete in the fourth quarter of this fiscal year.

In addition, Carmanah has announced that Sara Elford has joined its board of directors. A member of the FTSE Environmental Markets Committee, Elford recently completed the academic requirements for the ICD.D designation of the Institute of Corporate Directors.
