Italian stabilisation specialist CMC Marine has hired two new associates. Effective immediately, Pietro Cappiello and Alessandro Gallifuoco are now part of the company's management as New Strategy Implementation Manager and Sales and Aftersales Manager respectively.
Prior to joining CMC Marine, Cappiello worked in the wind power industry for two prestigious Spanish companies. He will be in charge of defining the new strategies for the Company's growth, with a focus on specific areas: Operations Strategy & Management, ERP implementation, People Management & Organization Structure.
Gallifuoco began his career at Accenture, where he managed several projects ranging from reengineering processes, planning, budgeting and profitability. He later spent a few years working at Southern Wind Shipyard as Head of Planning and Production Organization, before arriving at Azimut-Benetti where, for over 10 years, he was in charge of the Benetti Quality and AfterSales Division, managing a team of 35 people in three countries.
Based in Pisa, Italy, CMC Marine makes stern and bow thrusters for yachts and passenger ships over 16m in length. The company is best-known for its DAME Award-winning Stabilis Electra range of electric stabilisation systems.
