Clase Marine Group AB has acquired Cordland Marine, a Swedish distributor of electronic communications equipment, for an undisclosed sum.

Clase Marine is comprised of Gunnar Jansson, CEO of CA Clase Marinelektronik AB and Leftinger & Johansson AB, as well as Per Leftinger and Patrik Johansson.

Leftinger & Johansson AB acquired CA Clase Invest AB four months ago and sees the acquisition of Cordland Marine AB as in line with its strategic plan.

"We are very pleased with the deal and see the combination of the two companies as a strong platform for building a marine offering with both tradition and solid knowledge," says Per Leftinger.

Cordland Marine has been distributing electronic marine communication equipment and offering maintenance, installation and airtime (satellite traffic) services for more than 20 years. The company operates in satellite and radio communications and has five employees in Åsa, Sweden.

The goal of the new owners is to create growth and synergy in the companies, providing customers with a wider service offering and larger product portfolio.
