Corsair Marine, builder of Seawind Catamarans in Vietnam, has appointed two new dealers in the US and Korea. The appointments are a result of Corsair’s strategic expansion plans, which have paralleled significant growth in the group’s trimaran and catamaran production for 2017, the company claims.
The recent additions will see local representation regained in the US Pacific Northwest and a break into the growing Korean yachting market.
Green Marina Yachts is Korea’s newest multihull-focused dealership. The group recently entered the multihull market when it acquired the distribution rights for both Seawind Catamarans and Corsair Trimarans. On top of new and used boat sales, Green Marina Yachts will also begin charter operations next season with a new fleet of charter catamarans.
Wright Yacht Sales, a newly established venture in the US Pacific Northwest, already runs catamaran charter operations out of Washington and has an established used boat brokerage. The dealership agreement between Wright Yacht Sales and Corsair Marine will be beneficial for future and current Corsair owners and a great long-term partnership to help expand the brand through this region.
“Wright Yachts is thrilled to become the newest Corsair trimaran dealer in North America,” says the company's Rob Wright. “With Corsair Marine’s long history of building quality trimarans that are fast, safe and exciting, we are quite excited to offer Corsair’s full line to discerning sailors in the Pacific Northwest.”
Wright Yacht Sales will be importing the new Corsair 970 Sport ready for the spring and will be demonstrating her at summer 2018 boat shows and events.
