CRN, part of Italy’s Ferretti Group, has announced that its new 74m M/Y Cloud 9 will be making its world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.
Launched at the end of January and delivered in spring, Cloud 9's design concept is characterised by a "sleek profile further enhanced by subtle design details in the superstructure and by the sophisticated elegance of the interiors," says the yard.
The five-deck yacht with 13.5m beam can accommodate up to 16 guests (12 for charter) in the owner’s suite and six guest cabins, plus the crew quarters for 22 crew members and two more cabins for four staff members. It has a maximum speed of 16.5kt and a cruising speed of 15kt.
CRN's engineering team was in charge of Cloud 9’s naval engineering, Studio Zuccon International Project designed the outer lines and internal layout, and Winch Design took care of the interiors and the exterior guest area. Burgess was involved as project manager from the very early stages of the build in their capacity as the owner's representative.
CRN specialises in the construction of fully-custom steel and aluminium yachts from 40m-100m in length. Cloud 9 will be exhibited at the Monaco show in collaboration with Burgess and will be available for private viewings arranged by CRN.
