Germany’s Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, organiser of the Düsseldorf Boat Show, has joined the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA) as a sustaining member.

With 1,800 exhibitors from over 65 countries – and more than 1,500 yachts on display – boot Düsseldorf is considered a benchmark for the international boat and watersports industry. The next edition is scheduled to run from January 20-28, 2018.

Show director Petros Michelidakis says: “Known as ‘the place’ where the entire industry meets in January every year, boot Düsseldorf 2018 will feature new products, business developments and maritime equipment over an area of 220,000sq m. The entire global market will be on location across 16 exhibition halls.”

ICOMIA is the international trade association representing the global marine industry since 1966. It brings together national boating federations in one global organisation and represents them at an international level, presenting a strong and united voice when dealing with issues challenging the industry. Some 34 national federations across the world are full members of ICOMIA.
