The UK’s Fairline Boats is expanding its Eastern Mediterranean dealer network with the opening of an authorised Fairline dealer office in Beirut, Lebanon this month.

Trading as Fairline Lebanon, Alkhalil Trading and its subsidiary Offshore Trading is headed by managing director Tarek Khalil, former principal manager of Fairline Egypt.

“We recognise that Lebanon has excellent marinas and a beautiful coastline,” says Khalil, who has worked for the Fairline dealer network for over two years. “It is also very close to Cyprus and Turkey, which makes boating to and from these and other destinations very attractive."

In addition to being a Fairline customer, Khalil is also a mechanical engineer, holds a Yachtmaster Certificate and has been boating for over 25 years.

James Robinson, Fairline’s sales and marketing director, says: “Tarek’s success of running another Fairline dealer office is a testament to his knowledge of the boating industry and the Fairline brand.”
