Christopher Golden has been elected to the company's Board of Directors

FarSounder, a US manufacturer of 3D forward-looking sonar technology, has announced that Christopher Golden has been elected to the company's Board of Directors. Golden has around 30 years' leadership experience in the hi-tech industry, having worked for several large, publicly traded companies as well as smaller enterprises.

He currently serves on the Board of several other companies, including Optimum Technologies, Champion Metrics, Mackenzie Community Center and WPI Venture Forum.

Used on commercial, government and private ships for obstacle avoidance and shallow water navigation, FarSounder FS-3 sonars are capable of generating a complete 3D image of the sea floor and in-water objects at navigationally significant ranges with a single ping. They offer visualisation of a clear 3D sonar image.
