Italian powerboat specialist Otam has sold the first unit in the new Otam 85 GTS range – just one month after the project first launched. The new 26m yacht will be customised by working head to head with the owner’s design team, says Otam.

According to Otam, it was the owner himself who, after appreciating the first concept of the Otam 85 GTS (with its particularly futuristic profile inspired by the world of supercars), asked the Italian yard to develop a classic, open version that was better suited to his taste and personal style.

The Otam 85 GTS project was developed by long-standing partner Umberto Tagliavini’s Marine Design in collaboration with Niccolò Pasquini and Alessio Riccobaldi from R+P Architecture studio. For the first time, the owner of an Otam may choose between several configurations for the bow area, including the possibility of a lounge and coffee table or a spacious sunbathing area.

The result is a flexible Open that offers the maximum in comfort both while underway and at anchor.
