Fusion, the New Zealand-based producer of mobile entertainment systems, has hired Nico Kavaleff as its northern European sales manager. Kavaleff replaces Kevin Lott, who has been promoted to Europe, Middle East and Northern Africa (EMEA) OEM sales manager with immediate effect.
In his new role, Kavaleff will manage Fusion’s distribution and OEM network in Scandinavia, Poland and the Baltics – an area where both consumer demand and volume boatbuilding are stronger than ever. He joins the company with 11 years’ experience in the marine industry, including being a Fusion Entertainment specialist distributor.
“Nico is a great hire for us,” said Dan Soeters, global sales director at Fusion Entertainment. “He has a wealth of technical experience with Fusion products and personal relationships with our valuable OEM partners. He also shares our passion for high-level customer support. More importantly, he has a love for the marine industry and a big personality that fits the Fusion ethos perfectly.”
As OEM sales manager, Kevin Lott will use his new role to greatly expand the service that Fusion provides to its boatbuilder partners.
Fusion designs and engineers mobile entertainment and related products throughout the US, Europe, Asia and the Pacific. The company is a registered trademark of Garmin Ltd and is headquartered in New Zealand.
