Kusch Yachts, the German superyacht new-build and refit company, has undertaken a multimillion euro investment programme to upgrade its facilities on the River Stor near Hamburg. A key part of the investment was the provision of a cover for its second drydock.

The investment also involved increased carnage, new equipment sheds, and additional facilities for yacht crew. Kusch’s shipyard is now equipped with two covered drydocks – one of 135m (443ft) and another of 115m (378ft). In addition, the shipyard has two build slipways of 75m (246ft) and 100m (328ft).

Kusch has a workforce of over 110 people. The last yacht delivered by the yard was the 100.8m (330ft) motoryacht I Dynasty, which was completed in 2015.
