Hatteras Yachts says it sold a record number of boats at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. The North Carolina builder makes boats between 45ft-100ft.
Hatteras did not release actual numbers but said that sales were up 34% over the previous year’s FLIBS, while visitors to the Hatteras display increased by 15%. The company displayed seven Hatteras models, including the new M90 Panacera and GT45X Flybridge. Both boats made their world premieres at the show. Hatteras also introduced the new GT59 Convertible with a full-scale, walk-in mockup of the salon and galley in its display.
“The new boat sales we made and the great customer interest in all our models we experienced at FLIBS have further contributed to our company’s growing momentum and strong sales position,” said Kelly Grindle, Hatteras Yachts president and CEO, in a statement.
