IGY Marinas has acquired Ortega Landing in Jacksonville, Florida. Terms were not disclosed.

The marina is the third in facility that the company owns in Florida. It has 192 slips with the ability to accommodate vessels up to 70ft and “host” vessels to 130ft. It is located on the St John River, with access to the Florida coast.

“IGY Marinas has always placed Florida at the top of our marina expansion list, and in particular Ortega Landing, is a terrific complement to our growing marina destination portfolio,” says Tom Mukamal, CEO of IGY Marinas, in a statement.

Cam Melangton has been appointed as general manager. Melangton has had a career in sales, marketing, media, financials, business development, client relations, entertainment, hospitality, travel programs and event operations for Fortune 500 companies. He has also been involved in marina management for several yacht clubs. Before joining IGY, he was marina manager and dock master for Pasadena Yacht and Country Club.
