IMCI, the International Marine Certification Institute, has added Croatian to its multilingual Declaration of Conformity (DOC) tool, bringing the total number of languages available to 17.

The language of the DOC must be one of the official languages of the recipient's country, which may be burdensome to those manufacturers exporting their products into several countries of the EU.

As a free service IMCI has now added Croatian to the multilingual version of the DOC. This can be used by manufacturers of watercraft with regards to design & construction and noise emissions.

A stand-alone version in Croatian is also now available.

Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, IMCI is the EU notified body to perform CE-certification according to the Recreational Craft Directive (RCD) 2013/53/EU. It was founded in 1993 and now has more than 2,600 clients in more than 70 countries.
