Dutch technical services provider Imtech Marine has unveiled its 2011-2015 growth strategy. Managing director Eric van den Adel says the company aims to double its revenue by 2015 to €1bn — mostly through organic growth and acquisitions.
Imtech says that its growth strategy is based on a number of strategic priorities, including lifecycle partnership; strengthening the global organisation and service network; and innovation through green technology and integrated automation.
“Imtech’s financial position is strong, creating trust in the market and forming a solid base for acquiring new and strong maritime companies in line with our growth strategy,” says van den Adel. “We are confident to reach the target of €1bn revenue in 2015.”
Imtech Marine is a full-service provider and system integrator of tailor-made, innovative technology solutions covering the whole ship. In 2010, the company reached annual revenues of more than €500m, employing 2,500 employees at more than 70 offices worldwide.
