Naples, Italy-based Arcadia Yachts has acquired 21% of Marina di Torre Annunziata Srl. The marina is located next to Arcadia’s facility in Torre Annunziata, which has seen more than €30m in investment over the past 10 years.

The extra 11,000sq m of space will provide Arcadia with an additional area for production and for hauling-out and launching yachts. It boosts the yard's production area by 30% – from 36,000sq m to over 47,000sq m – enabling the company to increase the number of yachts under production and enhance its aftersales services.

“To increase production capacity, to develop larger products without altering the Arcadia DNA, and to continue having a solid and direct relationship with our customers are the reasons behind this operation,” says Ugo Pellegrino, Arcadia’s sole director.

“The orders taken, the ongoing negotiations and the enthusiasm recorded for the most recent models encourage me and the other shareholders to take on our entrepreneurial responsibilities and seize all the opportunities that arise – obviously assessing the related risks.”

The Arcadia Yachts fleet is divided into three distinct ranges – the five-model Gamma A range from 85ft-115ft, the Gamma Sherpa series, and the new Gamma FOR.TH range of steel-hulled vessels.
