The Italian Sea Group, a shipbuilding conglomerate whose brands include Admiral, Tecnomar and NCA, has opened a US office in Ft Lauderdale, Florida. Located at 401 East Las Olas Blvd, the office will be managed by Italian Sea Group vice chairman Francesco Carbone. He has also been appointed president of The Italian Sea Group Americas Inc.
“We’re delighted to be establishing a base in America where we are seeing a steady growth of superyachts,” says group chairman Giovanni Costantino. “Moving our vice chairman Francesco Carbone confirms our focus on this market. The Italian Sea Group Americas Inc, under the direction of Francesco, will help drive our success in the Americas.”
Francesco Carbone worked at the group's Italian headquarters for the last seven years, helping to sign multiple contracts for new builds up to 75m LOA and sell the shipyard's entire inventory of pre-owned yachts.
“There is an increasing interest in our yachts in the Americas, so we have to establish our presence there,” says Carbone. “We have already built several amazing superyachts for American owners and I very much look forward to working more closely with them, along with American brokers and captains.”
Headquartered in Carrara, Italy, The Italian Sea Group owns and operates brands such as Admiral (established in 1966), Tecnomar (1987) and NCA (1942). Collectively the three yards have delivered more than 500 yachts and commercial ships.
