Lalizas, the Greek manufacturer and distributor of marine safety equipment, has acquired Antipiros for an undisclosed sum. The move comes just months after the company acquired Spanish boat docking specialist Onesailor in February.
Antipiros specialises in firefighting systems and equipment as well as safety equipment used on land and at sea. The company is headquartered in Split, Croatia.
“We have recognised the opportunity of acquisition, taking into account the company’s growth,” says Antipiros’s shareholders in a statement. “Lalizas is the best choice to continue our vision of our company and furthermore to see our product and service portfolio expand based on Lalizas’s vision and its high-quality distribution network.”
Lalizas president Stavros Lalizas adds: “Our brand has been synonymous with safety for past 35 years. Every year we grow. Our commitment to our customers and partners to provide high-quality products and services led us to the decision to finalise the acquisition of Antipiros.
“Antipiros is a historical company in the Adriatic region with high level services. Lalizas shall maintain and involve according to our brands standards.”
Lalizas manufactures and distributes lifesaving equipment and other products under the Lalizas, Lofrans, Max Power, Nuova Rade and Ocean brands. The company is headquartered in Piraeus, Greece.
