UK-based marine hardware manufacturer Lewmar has strengthened its technical support team in the US.

Jared Cozza joins Lewmar USA as technical support manager at its Guilford, Connecticut location. Cozza recently graduated from The Landing School, acquiring an ABYC Marine Master Technician Certification and prior to that has been travelling the world on various superyachts.

He began his career in the marine industry by teaching bluewater sailing skills to teens, which led to positions as Mate and Engineer on sailing yachts such as SY Windcrest and SY Symmetry. Cozza has also worked as a sailmaker for North Sails and as a marine technician.

Austin Cohen joins Lewmar’s Newport shipyard in Rhode Island, where he now serves as a technical support representative. Cohen started sailing at a young age participating in youth racing and is currently an active racer and cruiser throughout the northeast.

After graduating with a degree in business management from New England College he started his career in the marine industry working at the New York Yacht Club in the waterfront department and most recently, as First Mate on a 40m sailing yacht.
