CBM Yachts has launched a 47m superyacht named Liquid Sky in the Antalya Free Zone of Turkey.

Equipped with 1450hp CAT engines for ocean cruising, Liquid Sky was designed by Norway’s Espen Oeino, whose signature is found on some of the world's most high-profile yachts, including Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen’s Octopus.

Liquid Sky will have its premiere in Palmarina, Bodrum in September alongside previously completed CBM yachts such as the 47m Mystic and Orient Star. Liquid Sky will be making its first ocean cruise to the 2017 Ft Lauderdale International Boat Show in November.

Cüneyt Okçu, CMB’s shipyard manager and project coordinator, says: "We took our place in Turkey and in the global market with our young and dynamic team of 250 people and our production site of 10,000sq m, especially with the production of megayachts over 40m.

“We are among the brands that are known, followed and favoured both in Turkey and the world, especially with our quality and know-how in composite megayacht production. We will continue to work on projects, such as Liquid Sky, that will create excitement in the sector."

CMB Yachts was founded by Başaran Investment Holding in the Antalya Free Zone in 2006. With ISO 9001: 2008 and OHSAS-18001 certificates, the company can build up to 100m and has a total production area of 10,000sq m.
