Following the success of last year’s Boat Builder Awards for Business Achievement, Marine Resources, the UK’s leading provider of bespoke recruitment and headhunting services for the leisure marine industry, has confirmed that it will once again sponsor the ‘Best Apprenticeship and Training Scheme’ award category.
Organised jointly by IBI and METSTRADE, the Boat Builder Awards are held in association with Raymarine and are attended by senior members of some of the best-known boatbuilding brands in the world. The winners will be announced on November 15 at a prestigious gala dinner in Amsterdam’s National Maritime Museum during the 2017 METSTRADE Show.
“As an industry we champion our clients to invest in training their staff from a young age, as these will be the boatbuilders, designers and managers of tomorrow,” says James Ward, managing director of Marine Resources. “This key award will only help to further promote the importance of apprenticeships and training schemes within the international marketplace and we are very pleased to be sponsoring the event once again.”
The judging of the awards will be based on nominations submitted via www.boatbuilderawards.com, which will then be deliberated by an international panel of judges. It is recommended that nominations should be accompanied wherever possible with supporting evidence that can be uploaded via the website.
Nominations should be as specific as possible and nominators should upload only relevant information to aid the judging process. If in doubt about an element of the nomination process or what material to upload to support the nomination, Ed Slack (Chair) can be contacted at email@example.com.
