Mazu Yachts, the Turkish boutique yacht designer and builder, has appointed Saint-Tropez-based OMV as its new exclusive dealer in Europe. The French company has its own marina and private maintenance facility in the neighbouring town of Grimaud.
The first Mazu promotional event for OMV will be the Cannes Yachting Festival, followed by the Monaco Yacht Show and Boot Düsseldorf in February 2018. In another move OMV has just opened the very first dedicated Mazu Store showroom in Saint-Tropez. There are also several reserved berths for Mazu owners in the picturesque provincial city’s port.
“The OMV team has shown an impeccable professionalism and attention to detail both in presentation of our yachts and assistance to clients. All that has convinced us to start working with them,” says Mazu marketing manager Rania Stypa.
“We are confident about the excellent quality of the delivered Mazu yachts and services,” says Tim de Keyser, OMV’s CEO. “Due to the high demand and success of Mazu Yachts in Europe, OMV is looking to expand cooperation in Europe, especially in the Mediterranean area.
“The performance of the whole Mazu yacht range is excellent, unique and easy to handle,” he adds. “Even in rougher seas and outside situations you feel safe and comfortable on board, owing to the great quality and processing. Already in standard versions Mazu Yachts are almost fully equipped, which is great for owners.”
At the Cannes Yachting Festival and Monaco Yacht Show, Mazu will exhibit the 38 open and will globally premiere the new 42 walk-around. Mazu Yachts’ high-tech shipyard facilities are located in Yalova, one of the best strategic locations for yacht-building in Turkey.
