Gerald Dyck has joined Canada Metal (Pacific) Ltd as its new chief operating officer, responsible for further enhancing the company’s growing portfolio of manufacturing facilities.

Dyck has 25 years of senior level manufacturing management experience in operations, engineering, business development, offshore manufacturing and multicultural leadership. He will take charge of CMP’s North American, Chinese and European production, supply chain, quality and engineering operations.

“Our recent growth and increasing demands from our customers led us to look for an addition to our team who will fit in with our ethos of innovation and exceptional service, and it is very fortunate that we were able to find someone of Gerald’s calibre to fulfil this role,” says CMP president John Mitchell. “I’m confident that Gerald will play a key role in providing and implementing high quality solutions within our global operations.”

CMP is made up of many individual brands, each serving customers in different ways. Martyr Anodes provide marine cathodic protection for boats, marine structures and boat equipment; Rocna offers a range of anchors; Titan Marine Products specialises in marine chain, anchor rodes, lines and shackles; and Dock Edge offers contemporary and traditional-style dock accessories for all boat and marine applications.
