The first of Ferretti’s new Custom Line 106, a glimpse of which was presented at the Miami boat show in February, is now in build ready to be launched and delivered by the end of the year. The 106, developed in partnership between the Francesco Paszkowski Design studio, the Ferretti Group's Engineering Department and the Product Strategy Committee led by the engineer Piero Ferrari, joins a Custom Line portfolio that comprises the Custom Line 108 and the Custom Line 120. Negotiations are currently underway with a number of potential clients for this new entry to the range, according to the builder.
“The Custom Line 106 marks another step forward in the growth of the Ferretti Group brand dedicated to large fibreglass yachts. This exceptional vessel complements the Custom Line planing-hull selection, which comes together with the array of semi-displacing models to form a comprehensive range for owners who want sizeable spaces, cutting-edge technological solutions, style and comfort: in other words, Custom Line excellence,” stated Alberto Galassi, the Chief Executive Officer of the Ferretti Group.
The 106 is fitted with twin MTU 16V engines rated at 2,217mhp, which can take it to a maximum speed of 23 kt (preliminary data). Alternatively, it is possible to ask for twin MTU 16V engines, which can generate 2,638 mhp and reach a maximum speed of 26kt (preliminary data).
The standard version is equipped with electro-hydraulic stabilising fins, offering both underway and zero-speed modes. On request, gyroscopic stabilisers can also be fitted for maximum comfort at anchor.
