Abu Dhabi Ports has been made a strategic partner for the 2018 Abu Dhabi International Boat Show (ADIBS). The agreement, which was signed onsite at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), aims to enhance Abu Dhabi’s position as a prominent leisure marine and luxury yachting destination.

Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamsi, CEO of Abu Dhabi Ports Company, applauded the efforts made by the government and public sector organisations to further enhance the business tourism segment and improve Abu Dhabi’s position as a leading destination across the sector.

“Abu Dhabi has been witnessing a growing number of passengers at its cruise terminal area over the last few years,” he says. “The pioneering edition of the Abu Dhabi International Boat Show, which is set to attract exhibitors are visitors from around the world, will contribute in the ongoing efforts to introduce the unique features offered by Abu Dhabi and the UAE’s marine tourism sector.”

The 2018 Abu Dhabi International Boat Show will be held from October 17-20 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre in Abu Dhabi. The show will comprise both an on-water marina section, land exhibits and indoor exhibits in an air-conditioned, semi-permanent structure.
