The National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) said that Larry Berman will be the new show manager for the Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show. Berman takes over from Ben Wold, interim show manager and NMMA executive vice president, who will remain in the NMMA’s Miami show office through the spring of 2018 to help with the transition.

Berman was most recently the show’s assistant show manager. He has worked with NMMA since 2000 in progressively more important roles. He was the manager of the Tampa and Atlanta shows and helped move the Miami show to Virginia Key in 2016. “Larry brings his extensive knowledge of the show’s sales and operations, as well as his passion for recreational boating and the industry, to his new role as show manager,” said Wold in the statement. “Larry is respected by our exhibitors, vendors and partners and will help the show continue to grow and thrive in the years to come.”
