UK-based yacht transporter Peters & May Group has appointed its first-ever agent in the Maldives.

The company has signed an official partnership with Maldives Yacht Support, a Maldivian concierge and marine agency services provider, ito bring logistical benefits to brokers, clients and visitors throughout the region.

Peters & May and Maldives Yacht Shipping have already worked together on a number of high-profile shipments, including the transport of three superyachts so far this year.

“We are thrilled to formalise our association with Peters & May,” says Abdulla Waheed, company director at Maldives Yacht Support. “Renowned globally for their bespoke logistics solutions, the collaboration provides an opportunity to further strengthen our renowned service and benefit our valued customers. It is great to know that our collaboration and yacht transportation services will enable more individuals to explore this beautiful region.”

In collaboration with Maldives Yacht Support, Peters & May will provide yacht and superyacht transport, tender services, air freight, vessel agency services, sea freight FCL/LCL as well as customs and import advice.

“Much like Peters & May, Maldives Yacht Support provide an exceptional service beyond the call of duty,” says David Holley, Peters & May CEO. “In a region strategically important to the success and growth of our company, it is fundamental that we have a trusted local agent in place.”

Earlier this year, the company acquired Worldwide Yacht Shipping and Transport Partners – two companies that fit with the group’s plans for further expansion in the Middle East, Far East and US markets. With the acquisitions, Peters & May now has 12 offices globally.
