Al Mannai Plus Events, the organising company of QIBS 2018, arranged to relocate the show to The Pearl, which is the first tourist destination in Qatar, being an easier and more accessible event venue than Lusail.
The event is taking place under the auspices of H.E. the Prime Minister and Interior Minister, Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani.
Fadi Al Yousfi, Director of the 5th edition of QIBS, commented: “We have been able to set a record in attracting leading manufacturers and exhibitors who are specialized in the manufacturing and promotion of boats and luxury yachts. More than 70 exhibitors have been registered so far and going by the growing popularity the number is set to increase in the next three days.”
“We are anticipating,” he added, “an unprecedented turnout to this year’s edition of QIBS especially as it is located in an amazing and accessible area of the Pearl Island – Qatar. In order to offer a unique experience to our participating companies, we will be hosting various interesting activities such as marine tours, prizes, water activities, marine races and relevant seminars.”
