New Zealand-based Rayglass has named Tony Yurjevic as the group’s new service manager. He will be based at Rayglass’ headquarters and showroom in Auckland.
Yurjevic, who has 25 years' automotive and marine experience, has spent the last four years as an integral part of the Rayglass service department’s leadership team. His move into the management team is part of an expansion of the service department and an even greater emphasis on its customer-first culture, says CEO Dave Larsen.
“More and more people have seen the amazing repowers and complete refits we have done over the last couple of years and are understanding how satisfying and cost-effective they can be,” Larsen claims. “As a result, Tony is already looking for more top-class mechanics to help us meet that demand.”
Rayglass manufactures the Legend series of GRP powerboats, the Protector range of patrol, work and pleasure RIBs, and the Pro-Jet, a combination RIB and PWC. The company employs over 60 people in three state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities and claims to be one of New Zealand’s most successful marine businesses, both at home and internationally.
