Reporting higher sales and profits, Marine Products Corporation says it will cut back smaller models this month

The decision to reduce production on smaller Chaparral boats is due to falling consumer confidence, hurricanes and higher fuel prices. The company expects lower fourth-quarter sales compared to the same quarter of '04
