Sanlorenzo Spain, the exclusive agent for Sanlorenzo in Spain and the Balearic Islands, has sold its second new-build 24.6m SL78 yacht to a European client. Hull 686 is currently in build at Sanlorenzo’s facility in Ameglia, Italy, and is scheduled for delivery in July 2018.

This demonstrates a solid sales performance in the first quarter, as SL78 Hull 682 was also recently sold by Sanlorenzo Spain in January 2018. As a result, two ‘made-to-measure’ new-build Sanlorenzo SL78 units will cruise to their respective home berths in Mallorca this season.

SL78-686 is the 14th hull of the Sanlorenzo SL78 model, which was first introduced at the Cannes Yachting Festival in 2016. It will boast an exacting specification designed for luxurious Mediterranean cruising, and will be powered by twin 1622hp MTU 10V2000M96L engines for a maximum speed of 29kt.

Accommodation for eight guests is divided into four cabins. A spacious owner’s stateroom is located amidships on the lower deck, along with a VIP stateroom, a double cabin and a twin berth cabin. There is additional crew accommodation for up to two crew members.

Sanlorenzo's SL78-686 is now the 11th new-build Sanlorenzo superyacht sold by Sanlorenzo Spain, and the third SL78 unit sold by Sanlorenzo Spain since the model’s initial launch in September 2016.

The SL78 will be making its Spanish premiere at the upcoming Palma Boat Show, which runs from April 27 to May 1. An example of the SL106 model will also be displayed at throughout the show.
