SmartPlug Systems in the US has appointed new distributors for the Netherlands, Germany, Spain, Norway and Poland. The news comes not long after the US shore power specialist chose UK-based Global Marine Associates (GMA) to serve as its European sales representative.

The new SpartPlug distributors are Allpa in the Netherlands and Germany, FJ Blasco in Spain, Telmo in Norway and Altaquesta in Poland.

“We are delighted to welcome these distributors on board and having the SmartPlug programme distributed by such progressive companies is testament to the belief we all have in this products place in the marine market and its future success,” says Martin Harding, managing director of GMA Ltd.

SmartPlug manufactures safe alternatives to standard AC power connections, including electrical adapters, connectors, cordsets and inlets for a range of applications. The company is based in Seattle, Washington.

Global Marine Associates is a UK-based marine manufacturers' representative headquartered in Fareham, Hampshire.
