Polish boatbuilder Sunreef Yachts says it has obtained seven orders for the company’s latest range of luxury catamarans, including craft with lengths from 60ft-80ft.

"In response to this positive reaction by our customers, our shipyard has decided to unveil our latest model, the Sunreef 50," says the company in a statement.

The Sunreef 50 is a composite craft that can be fitted with two engines of 75hp (5 kW) or 110hp (82kW) each, depending on the selected variant.

Headquartered in Gdansk, on the Polish Baltic Sea, Sunreef Yachts operates a shipyard that with a workforce of about 400 employees. The company was established by French businessman Francis Lapp who also serves as president of the boatbuilder's management board.

In 2013, Sunreef opened its first foreign office in the UAE, and a year later, the company established an office in Bahrain. To date, Sunreef has delivered more than 100 craft to customers worldwide.
