Suntex Marina Investors in the US has announced plans to open a new Suntex Boat Club location at CrossTimbers Marina, located just north of Tulsa, Oklahoma, bringing the total number of Boat Club locations across the US to nine.

Suntex Watersports, the company’s boat rental program, has also added six new locations in Northern California and Tennessee. This brings the total number of boat rental locations to 25.

“Our goal with the Suntex Boat Club and Suntex Watersports is to introduce people to boating and to promote the boating lifestyle,” says Stephen Lehn, principal and head of operations at Suntex Marinas. “Our members use these programs as easy ways to enjoy their time on the water.

“These experiences allow them to both build confidence in their boating abilities and ease into the decision of purchasing a new boat to become a long-term Suntex slip member,” he adds.

Suntex says it has also significantly expanded both its boat club and rental fleets by purchasing more than 300 new boats. Catering to the demands of its growing customer base, the new boats represent a variety of applications including pontoons, tri-toons, centre console fishing, deck boats, bow riders, ski and wakeboard boats.

The Suntex Boat Club is a private, members-only organisation that offers an easy and affordable introduction to the boating lifestyle, as boaters simply pay the membership dues along with the fuel they use. Members simply log into an easy-to-use online reservation system or call to reserve their boat of choice.

Suntex’s 46 marinas are located in California, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Tennessee and Virginia.
