Albin Pump Marine has opened a new North American office and warehouse in Miami, Florida. The Swedish manufacturer of marine components has also named Brad Burton as the general manager in Miami. The company will make its official US debut next month at the Miami International Boat Show.

Albin has seen heightened demand for its marine pumping, heating and sanitation equipment. "We're experiencing dynamic growth in North America and are eager to have Brad at the helm of the US office," said Olle Jonsson, director of Albin Pump Marine, in a statement. "He's a respected industry insider that thoroughly understands our product line and has deep connections with OEMs across the country."

Burton has 30 years of sales management experience. He was most recently Thetford Marine's OEM sales manager and has held similar roles at Aqua Signal, Faria Marine Instruments and Guest Corp.

Albin, which was one of the world’s largest boatbuilders in the 1970s and ‘80s, continues to build toilets, pumps, blowers, heaters and related equipment for OEM and aftermarket. It has been in business since 1911.
