Recent superyacht news includes new contracts for Gulf Craft, Admiral and Van der Valk.
The Admiral brand, part of the Italian Sea Group reports the sale of new 75m(246ft) displacement superyacht of large volumes, completely custom and with steel hull. Delivery is scheduled for 2021.The yacht's design is highly-innovative with a great use of glass and exceptional heights.
The customer was represented by Will Christie of Y.CO, thus highlighting another collaboration of the shipyard with this leading international brokerage house. This contract comes at a time full of activities for the shipyard, which has just launched the 75m explorer Planet Nine.
A 65m (213ft) displacement yacht with steel hull; a 46m (151ft) Trideck yacht; and a 45m RPH yacht in aluminium with delivery scheduled for 2020, are also under construction. Also in build are the three 37m (122ft) aluminium yachts with deliveries between 2018 and 2019.

Drettmann International, the exclusive dealer for Majesty Yachts in Europe, Russia and Ukraine, has arranged the sale of the next Majesty 100 superyacht to an experienced Russian yacht owner. The project will be built for the owner’s private use together with his family. She will be soon joining her sister-ships in the Mediterranean.

The ISA Yachts division of Palumbo Superyachts announces the sale of the new 38.4m (126ft) motoryacht EXTRA 126 for a European owner. With exterior and interior design by Francesco Guida, the EXTRA range develops a brand new cruise concept: extremely large volumes compared to the size, maximum onboard comfort, low fuel consumption for long-range navigation and outdoor spaces designed to enjoy close contact with the sea.
After the recent delivery of the 23m (76ft) EXTRA 76 motoryacht named One, the 126ft will be the second project to be built of the EXTRA by ISA Yachts series which also includes 86ft, 93ft and 116ft models. She will be delivered to her owner in summer 2019.
Palumbo Superyachts, managed by Giuseppe Palumbo, owns and markets three brands: ISA Yachts and Columbus Yachts, that specialize respectively in the design and construction of semi-custom and custom superyachts; and Palumbo Superyachts Refit, for superyacht repair, refit and after sales activities.
Leading Dutch builder of smaller superyachts, Van der Valk has received an order for a 28m (92ft) raised pilothouse explorer. The project is for a repeat client who only needed to spend a season enjoying his current Van der Valk to be convinced that an Explorer would be ideal to embark on the trans-Atlantic and trans-Pacific voyages of his dreams. These adventures will begin after the yacht is delivered in the spring of 2020.
Following on from Dutch Falcon and Santa Maria T, the third yacht in our Explorer range will be built entirely in strong, lightweight aluminium. She has a fast displacement hull, with twin MAN V12 1650 hp engines giving an estimated top speed of 20 knots. A VEEM VG145 zero-speed gyroscopic stabiliser system and two 32 kW Northern Lights generators will ensure onboard comfort at all times for owners and guests.
