Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin and Rick Pierce, president of Bass Cat and Yar-Craft, last week held a groundbreaking ceremony on a new facility that will boost boat production by 50%. Construction of the facility will begin in May.

Correct Craft acquired the two Arkansas-based brands in 2015. The company said that demand for the Bass Cat and Yar-Craft lines now exceeds production capacity at its facility in Mountain Home, Arkansas.

“Rick and his team have implemented initiatives over the past three years to improve all aspects of Bass Cat and Yar-Craft,” said Yeargin in a statement. “Those initiatives have resulted in a significant increase in demand for the company’s products.”

“The expansion project will help our thrust into the future. Things here are extremely bright,” added Pierce in the statement.
