Isagi, a UK supplier of non-slip products for the marine and other markets, has been sold to Able2 for an undisclosed sum.
Able2 has been supplying the retail marketplace with ‘easy living’ products for nearly 15 years.
Isagi was launched 10 years ago by Andrew and Jayne Guilbert, who have decided to pursue other interests. Able2 will add Isagi’s StayPut brand of anti-microbial bath and shower mats to its portfolio of products, and will continue to operate as usual.
“We are delighted to have completed the acquisition of Isagi Ltd and the StayPut brand,” said Mark Diaj, managing director of Able2. “The StayPut products are a perfect complement to our business both commercially and also with our production processes.
“The products and brand are well recognised throughout various industries and we are looking forward to continuing the development of this part of our business.”
Isagi’s Andrew Guilbert said the time felt right to move on and allow the Isagi brand to flourish under new owners. “Able2 has been a customer of ours for the last four years and we feel the Isagi products and StayPut brand fits in extremely well with the rest of their products,” he says. “We know they are dedicated to maintaining the quality of support and service that customers have come to know from Isagi.”
