The NMMA says that powerboat registrations in the US rose through November 2017. Its New Powerboat Registrations Report says that registration of traditional powerboats were up 4.7% year-over-year (YOY) for the rolling 12-month (R12M) period through November.
The US trade association said that nearly all boat segments rose during the period. Cruisers were up 9.6%, pontoons up 7.3%, tow boats up 6.9% and personal watercraft were up 5.5%.
As a group, outboard boats were up 5.0% in registrations. Boats 27ft and over were up 8.8% for the period.
