Yamaha Marine Group has announced that it will end of its supply arrangement with Alumacraft following the sale of the boat company to BRP USA Inc, the makers of Evinrude outboards.

BRP USA purchased the Arkansas-based boatbuilder at the end of June.

In a news release issued Friday, Yamaha Marine Group president Ben Speciale said the two engine makers were unable to reach agreement on continuing the relationship.

“To effectively support our valued dealers who may have existing orders for Yamaha-powered Alumacraft products, Yamaha has offered to continue supplying outboards to Alumacraft for approximately 60 days.”

The supply agreement officially ends on September 10.
