Yamaha Marine Group has restructured its corporate organisation and added a new Marine Power Sales and Marketing division. It will be overseen by Mark Tracy, formerly OEM Sales Division Manager, who now has the title of general manager. Tracy will be responsible for planning and coordinating the general direction and initiatives of the sales and marketing teams within Yamaha Marine Group.

“Outboards and Marine Rigging and Parts have grown substantially over the last few years, reaching record levels that many of us could not have foreseen,” said Ben Speciale, president of Yamaha Marine Group in a statement. “We acquired two new companies in 2017, and plan to expand our US capabilities in product development while increasing support for Yamaha Marine brand initiatives. This change in our structure will help to accommodate for growth by improving inter-division communications and providing faster decision-making processes with in the marine sales and marketing areas.”

Tracy, who started his marine industry career at a Florida dealership, joined Yamaha as a district marketing manager. In 2001, Tracy became the company’s Eastern Regional Manager, based out of its corporate headquarters in Kennesaw, Georgia. He assumed the title of OEM Regional Sales Manager in 2005 before accepting this position.
