Yamaha Marine Group is partnering with the Marine Retailers Association of the Americas (MRAA), encouraging its 2,000 US dealers to join the 46-year-old trade group and take advantage of the programs and services offered to make dealerships stronger and more successful.
To that end, Yamaha is offering its dealers co-op advertising funds for both MRAA membership and to become a Marine Industry Certified Dealership. Through the alliance, Yamaha dealerships can avail themselves of advanced dealer training courses, improved workforce development programs, and more than 20 business-enhancing benefits, such as an all-new health insurance program and educational programming that help dealers find growth and success.
John Rigsby, division manager, dealer sales and MRP, Yamaha Marine Group, said the partnership helps to align its dealerships with a strong advocate organisation for the marine industry. “As more of our dealerships become members, the collective power of the marine industry voice gets stronger, which is especially important now.”
“We look forward to providing Yamaha dealers greater access to all of the tools and resources that MRAA has to offer to help them succeed in today’s market place.” Matt Gruhn, MRAA president. “By collaborating with Yamaha, we believe we can not only help dealers strengthen their businesses, but we can also strengthen the overall, unified voice of the marine industry.”
