GOST’s most compact self-reliant geostationary tracker monitors the location of tenders, personal watercraft, e-bikes, kayaks, paddleboards and other yacht equipment
Global Ocean Security Technologies (GOST) says its lightweight and compact Kasper mobile asset tracker brings cutting-edge satellite tracking technology into an entirely new range of end-user market segments.
Completely self-powered with an integrated solar panel and built-in antenna, Kasper is positioned as a versatile asset tracker that enables yacht owners and crews to more easily keep tabs on equipment like tenders, personal watercraft, e-bikes, kayaks, paddleboards and other mobile gear to deliver an unprecedented level of security and theft-deterrence.
With its integrated solar panel and antenna, the device is also compact enough to extend GOST’s industry-leading satellite tracking capability to wide range of smaller vessels such as pontoons, bass boats, skiffs, RIBs and centre consoles, providing increased asset protection for owners of smaller valuable goods.
Kasper not only delivers remote asset geostationary satellite monitoring with geofencing to its powerful GOST Specter website, but advanced geofence breach functionality with fully autonomous operation and unit reporting every 15 minutes, making it particularly useful for commercial fleet managers such as boat club operators.
Kasper is IP67/IPX9K-rated, shock and vibration resistant and HERO-certified to solidify its ability to handle any conditions both on and off the water. Kasper features sensors to track for speed and heading, as well as a door security or panic button functionality.
“From on the water to land, Kasper offers owners and crew members peace of mind with a simple solution for globally tracking the location of where important, valuable assets are located at any given time,” says GOST president and CEO, Brian Kane. “It is easy to install and can be just as easily reallocated to multiple assets as needed. And since it doesn’t need an onboard power source, Kasper is sure to be the go-to choice in remote asset monitoring for almost any application.”
