Chemring Marine in the UK has chosen Brude to distribute its Pains Wessex line of marine distress signals in Norway.
Brude, part of the Koppernæs Group, has a main office in the port of Ålesund and service stations covering the entire Norwegian coastline, employing 50 people. The company supplies marine distress signals to hundreds of marine vessels and to two-thirds of Norwegian liferaft service stations.
Annlaug Midtbust, Brude’s logistics manager, says: “There is strong competition in pyrotechnics on the Norwegian market, but Chemring Marine’s brands are well known.”
Chemring Marine is a leading supplier of SOLAS, MED & USCG-approved marine distress signals under the brand names Pains Wessex and Comet. The company is part of the Chemring Group PLC.
